Creating Google Contact Groups (Labels)
It's fairly simple to create a Google Contact Group, which Google refers to as a Label. Instructions are as follows:
Visit Google Contacts
For each user who should be in this group that is not already listed in your contacts, click 'Create Contact' and populate at least their First Name, Last Name and Email fields Be sure to click 'Save' after populating said information.
On the left hand nav, there is a heading title Labels, click the + to add a new label. Give it a name (Social Coaches, etc) (OK).
Go to the Contacts Tab, check the box next to each of the users needing to be a part of this group.
After checking each user, in the top right, there is a blue icon indicating 'Manage Labels'. Click it.
From the Manage Labels dropdown, select the newly created label name, and click Apply to add the users to the label (group).
That's it! Within a few moments you will be able to email the Label by typing in the name of the label in your Gmail To field.
